Re: Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Book covers you would frame as a poster

I agree Christina about being attracted to the artwork of the book. Since that's your first visual of a book you have about it helps to have a eye catching visual. Something that can also be considered a eye catching visual for a good book cover is texture. I came across these images as book redesigns for iconic books by artist and I thought these were intriguing since they dealt specifically with texture.  These expressive and conceptual designs are clean and creative. Each of these designs compliments an element from the story. The matchbox design is dead on and well executed. The solid background surrounding the images make it pop. These two examples are attention grabbers and would make for interesting movie posters.
