There have been so many books I love that are now movies, however, I'd have to agree with the majority of the class and say that new covers with actors from the movie is not a great choice. One of my favorite books is
The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. This book was recently made into a movie and yet again, a lousy and non-creative book cover is now on the shelves.
Re-done book covers depicting actors in a movie are completely unoriginal. I understand that maybe the publisher assumes that some people won't make the connection between the book and the movie without images and people from the film. I think that's ridiculous, but maybe that's just my opinion.
