Re: Leopard/Telephone feedback

Thank you all for your feedback. I really appreciate it. Erin- I really like your idea about the plexiglass. I'm going to try to bring in a draft for that on Tuesday. As for my tile design, I hope to have a fully mocked up book by Tuesday. I am struggling with making the writing have the same depth/really look like it was written on the tile. Does anyone have any suggestions/is anyone going to the lab Monday night that has expertise on photoshop? I have made a few changes since I posted on Friday, and they are below, including end papers, half title, title, and about the author (which is in the back of the book). I'm not sure if having the same handwritten title on the first three pages is too much? Suggestions?

Erin: I agree with the placement on your front cover, and I understand where you're going with the vibrating title, but it's not quite there yet. I quickly browsed pinterest and found good imagery for vibrating typography. Maybe it is the typeface you chose? See the photo below.

Rachel: The first thing I noticed is your type and letters aren't all bleeding off the edge or lining up. Make sure you really refine that to keep it consistent. I agree that the leopard looks better, but it still seems misplaced/awkward. Try moving it around on the page/size? It's coming along nicely.
