Making Decisions in Design

Hi guys,
Good job on looking into binding. Truth is, like you guys, I kinda stumbled into binding. I had to teach myself perfect binding, and the truth is there's no one right way. Even today, I came across a great little gem that baffled me for a moment. It's always great finding things that inspire you and leads you to make more informed design decisions in planning stages.

I'm here in NYC, and went thumbing through the shelves at The Strand, and found this little book with beautiful, simple exposed saddle-stitch binding. The covers are a beautiful heavy matte stock that is attached the way you would with end papers. Really lovely and simple, ironically for a book all about skulls!

Enjoy!
