In Response to the Bell Jar and Beloved.

I would just like to say that I have never read anything by Sylvia Plath, but based on the navy blue cover with the cute blue shoes, I would. I would never look twice at the one with the old fashion kicks, nor am I attracted to that typeface at all.

Marie, I love love love Beloved. I love Toni Morrison. And I am completely suprised by the number of covers you found! Ironically, none of them are that appealing to me. If it werent for the name of the author on the front, I don't think it would ever catch my eye. Ironically, I find this with a lot of her books. One of them in particular, Sula, has similar covers to what you just posted.
