those books?
The books are about the
many adventures of a club of middle school aged baby sitters from the 80’s. I
feel like we’ve talked about teen books a lot lately by the way! Anyhow, I
loved those books. By 1990, The Babysitter’s Club became a series on HBO. Never
missed an episode.
The Babysitter’s Club book cover designs were always the
same. The title was made up of building blocks and there was a square photo on
the cover depicting what the adventure was about. There was always a subtitle
that included about ten words to give you a glimpse into what was to come.
My
favorite subtitle: He’s smart. He’s handsome. He 22!
