For the past few years, I've read books based on recommendations. Those books are either lent to me or I buy them on my kindle. I've also tried to read books before I hear the movie is coming out. The only book I've bought after seeing the movie/show is Game of Thrones, which I've never gotten through because of my busy schedule. When I was searching for those books, I remember thinking to myself, "I'd never buy this book based on it's cover."

Even though I use my kindle, I still love physical books. There is a certain feeling I get holding a book. I used to love going to the bookstore and feeling the covers. I've definitely bought books based on their covers before. And I am guilty of buying the edition with what I think is the better cover.
