I have to agree with you Jamie. Movie book covers that are covered with Hollywood actresses and actors really drive me crazy. I rather imagine my own sexy vampire or knight in shining armor. Parallel  to that thought, designs that are abstract or cropped to fit the imagination are appropriate for a book cover. Save the actual movie character photos for the Blu-Ray cover.

Even if the book features the movie star on the cover, I would feel better if they didn't show their face. Hints the cover on the right.
