When I was a kid my favorite books were ones about adventurous little girl, like Madeline written by Ludwig Bemelmans, or Eloise written by Kay Thompson. I remember my mother sitting on the corner of my bed as she would read me the books. And when she would show me the vividly draw illustrations from the books I would imagine myself diving into the pictures and having tons of fun with Eloise and Madeline.
