This book is beautiful and has some helpful hints too.
The content is arranged alphabetically with tips for using everyday items for useful household fixes. Real Simple’s design provides information that is clear and organized. The format is simple and uncluttered. This book uses a ton of white space, which gives the page design room to breathe.
This book also use small illustrations to keep readers engaged in the text. For example if they are suggesting using a dryer sheet for reducing static cling, they we will actually insert an illustration of a dryer sheet. Reminds me of Highlights magazine as a child!
I will say, as much I love the look of Real Simple, much of the editorial content is trying to get you to buy things.
