Today, after telling my dad his Father's Day gift was en route, (a boxed set of Malcolm Gladwell's books-audio) I asked him why he didn't return my call earlier. He replied that while he packed his phone, he forgot the tiny piece of paper that his important numbers were kept on. I reminded him that Kristi (my sister) and I programmed his phone years ago with our numbers. My dad whined that it was too hard to learn how to pull up the programmed numbers and it was easier to bring the little piece of paper with him. He's only had the phone for four years. Motivation...
