iPad Reflection
I enjoyed the two videos and seeing all the new ways we will be able to experience the written word in the near future. What stood out to me the most is the potential an iPad has to make people who would typically hate reading or the reading of a certain subject and instead really absorb oneself in the experience. I always hated science and only found the periodic tables interesting because of its physical appearance and mysterious letter combinations. With an iPad however, a science textbook could become very exciting and really make you want to understand the material better while also being able to get involved in the subject more. Another market it can really bring into the world of reading would be kids. A lot of kids dislike reading but an iPad can turn reading into an electronic experience that is visually stimulating while also getting a young audience into reading.
