Thank you Erin for that link to the "The 30 Best Book Covers of 2014". Among viewing some of them, I really like Carol Hayes design of Dorthe Nors Karate Chop.

It has that minimalist style that really attracts me, with the bold text and witty slice through the text that so closely describes the title. Among researching some of her work, I found that she is currently a designer at West Elm in Brooklyn, New York.
