I'd read lots of Judy Blume and came across Forever at a used book sale. It was a book of hers I hadn't heard of and I was excited to get home and read it. The book tells the story of two high school seniors who fall in love and is likely more pornographic than romantic, especially to an 11-year-old. I read it in a single sitting. Even though I felt like I didn't know Judy Blume at all after reading Forever, I remember feeling like I couldn't wait to read another book just like it.

Forever
I don't usually read books about love and I'm not up on my classic literature, so I'm a bit lost when it comes to the romance genre. However, I did go through a slight romance phase as an adolescent and the book that started that phase was Forever by Judy Blume.
