Typography based covers are particularly interesting. Having seen Chip Kidd’s presentation at MICA
last fall, I referenced his work to speak on this topic. I thought it interesting, that the Kidd
himself used text as the focus of his most recent book cover design:
The audience being young he chose to go with strong primary colors as well. Sidebar – the fact that the word “Go” is within the stop sign symbol, does that make this a conceptual design?
